If you’ve ever wondered who really runs our home, the answer is easy—Stryker.
One of his favorite places is the daybed by the window. He can spend a long time sitting there, quietly listening for every sound outside. A passing car, a neighbor walking by, or a squirrel in the yard—nothing escapes his attention.
Even when the shades are down, Stryker still wants to keep watch. He’ll sit there, ears perked up, convinced that his job is to make sure everything is safe. We like to joke that he’s the head of the Stryker Security Team.
It’s funny how such a small dog can have such a big sense of responsibility. He takes his job seriously, but he also reminds us to slow down and enjoy the little things. Sometimes just sitting together in a quiet room is enough.
